NYC Chiropractor Explains Kinesiology Muscle Testing
Dr. Lou Granirer a renowned NYC Chiropractor Explains Kinesiology Muscle Testing to diagnose and treat muscular weakness and imbalance minus the guesswork. The study of anatomy relative to the mechanics of human movement is called Kinesiology. Body Movement study is called Muscle Study.
Dr. Granirer is a holistic chiropractor practitioner with expertise in Kinesiology Muscle Testing. The information that follows is a description of this method. Dr. Granirer states that “Kinesiology muscle testing is based on the idea that your body knows what’s wrong with it”. He further describes how healing treatments and remedies are developed through testing the strength and responses of muscles.
The test is “… Designed to access…(and measure)… Energy via specific anatomical points using a muscle response”. All of our muscles, as well as our organs, respond to and are controlled by the nervous system which is the body’s master control and communication system. The body’s energy is communicated by chemical and electrical signals, which are sent back and forth from the brain via the spinal cord and the nervous system.
Healthy, strong muscles resist most of the interference between themselves and the other systems. (The term “resistance training” might seem familiar to you.) If the electrical signals, or messages, are interfered with in any way, the result will be a weakened muscle. This mode of muscle-testing presents a challenge to the strength of any chosen muscle set.
Contact or reflex points, also called access points, relate to different muscles and organs. A practitioner will determine access points depending upon the patient’s symptoms and complaints. When the access points selected are pressed, a “circuit” is automatically created between that point and the muscle. This specific test will challenge and demonstrate how the energy is balanced between any access point and any muscle, for instance, the one found between fingers and deltoid muscles.
When the response is strong, it indicates that the muscle to the nervous (neuromuscular) system connection, or circuit, is strong. When the muscle response is weak, it may indicate that there is a short-circuit, so to speak. A weak nerve-to-muscle connection in the signal indicates a weakened energetic balance. When this is the case, the trained practitioner will select a remedy to help restore balance to that neuromuscular system.
Strength, support and restoration of the balance of energy within that circuit between access point and muscle will be achieved with one or more appropriate remedies or treatments. A selection of treatments will be tested by means of the identical tests which had been used during diagnosis until the “matching” agent is found. This agent will restore the maximum strength to any specific connection.
The methods used in this type of test eliminate any guesswork in diagnoses and treatments. The best homeopathic, botanical or nutritional treatments will be designed specifically, accurately and to achieve the most personalized management for each individual patient.
